Abstract

Welcome to Volume 2, Issue 2 of The British Student Doctor.

Author Biography

James M. Kilgour, Academic Foundation Programme Doctor, Wexham Park Hospital and Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School

James is an Academic Foundation Doctor at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough, and at the Oxford University Clinical Academic Graduate School (OUCAGS). He is currently conducting research in dermatology with the Oxford Department of Dermatology, based at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford.

James is a member of the Cardiff University School of Medicine Class of 2017, and previously graduated with first class honours from Cardiff University with a BSc in Medical Education.

He has extensively published in the field of medical education, including research involving written knowledge assessments and small-group learning. He is also a peer-reviewer for several leading journals, including the BMJ and Medical Education, and he also has previous editorial experience of running a US medical journal.
